Shops again had the option of staying open yesterday after President János Áder on Friday signed into law the repeal of restrictions on Sunday shopping, and it was promulgated in the official gazette Magyar Közlöny. Hypermarket chain Tesco opened about three-quarters of its 147 units.
Hungary, South Korea To Set Up Direct Flights

Hungary and South Korea have agreed to launch direct flights between their capital cities this summer. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told a press conference that over the first phase of cooperation, Asiana Airlines, South Korea’s second biggest carrier, will operate one flight a week between Budapest and Seoul from the beginning of July to the end of August.

Sziget Festival is a non-stop music and arts festival with hundreds of program offered every day for its 7 days. This time some new names have been added to the line-up such as Afrojack, Die Antwoord, Skunk Anansie, Troyboi and many more. Sziget is held on a lovely green island in the middle of Budapest between 10-17 August. Advance round 1 tickets are available until 5th May.
