Although the interview was conducted in English, it was overdubbed in Hungarian. Unfortunately, the original, undubbed version has yet to be published. According to Political Capital director Péter Krekó, xenophobia has reached a record level in Hungary. He attributes this to fear of the unknown and political incitement as well. Krekó sees that immigration policy in Hungary could not be stricter, and believes that UK Prime Minister David Cameron will not be a partner in Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s “vulgar xenophobia” .

The National Election Committee (NVB) has approved a question for a national referendum submitted by the leader of the opposition Socialists regarding payment for Sunday work. The question József Tóbiás submitted to the committee on April 21 is the following: “do you want parliament to amend the labour code to allow payment of a 200% premium for Sunday work in the retail trade sector?”
