"Magyar Posta and the Swedish Post are planning a joint stamp issue in May 2012 in honour of the centenary of the birth of Raoul Wallenberg. The joint stamp issue will coincide with the opening of a special thematic exhibition in the Stamp Museum in Budapest entitled “Rescuers”.

"Smoking will be banned in all enclosed spaces in Hungary including offices, restaurants and pubs from January 1, 2012, after Parliament amended the Protection of Non-smokers Act with 271 affirmative votes, 37 dissensions and 14 abstentions.

"After 5 years of break KLM is pleased to announce the relaunch of its own services between Budapest and Amsterdam. Budapest was previously served in codeshare with and operated by Malév Hungarian Airlines and from 31 October, KLM will be discontinuing its cooperation with Malév.
