World Family Summit To Be Held In Budapest Between 25 - 28 May

The Budapest Family Summit, an event focusing on, surprisingly enough, family issues, will be held later this month in Budapest, from May 25th to the 28th. The event will include famous politicians, scientists, and thinkers. You can view a video of him giving a TED talk on “the psychology of evil” on the video below.
Jewish Community Plans To Open Three New Synagogues

The Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation (EMIH) is working to open three new synagogues in Hungary, the organisation’s chief rabbi Slomó Köves said in an interview to the daily Magyar Hírlap. Köves said that the Jewish community was undergoing a renaissance and there were more and more cultural events, openair festivals and exhibitions taking place nationwide.

The art deco architect István Sajó was born in Debrecen, in Eastern Hungary. Despite a successful career in America, he returned home to the great Hungarian plain, where he built modern, exciting and spacious art deco buildings among the traditional, mostly single-storey, neo-classical houses lining the city’s streets. Sajó’s heart and soul belonged to Debrecen.

Despite a successful career in America, he returned home to the great Hungarian plain, where he built modern, exciting and spacious art deco buildings among the traditional, mostly single-storey, neo-classical houses lining the city’s streets. Sajó’s heart and soul belonged to Debrecen.
