After the great reviews and feedback of the first session, the main concept remains unchanged: BIDF is an international competition for creative documentaries from all over the world without thematic restriction, with money awards and an international jury.

Erika Náray played cello for eight years in Eger. In the renowned secondary school for literature and drama in Szentes, she was a classmate or schoolmate of Róbert Alföldi, Enikő Börcsök, Adrien Szekeres, Zséda, Krisztián Nyári and Zoltán Ternyák.

Legendary British soul singer Amy Winehouse was also wonderful as a jazz performer, covering some of the best-known songs of the age. Although she released only two albums in her lifetime, her music has inspired numerous singers - among them Hungarian audience favourite Gabi Szűcs.

The young French director’s feature debut, Lucie Borleteau’s FIDELIO, L'ODYSSÉE D'ALICE won the Breaking Waves Award at Titanic International Film Festival held between 10-18 April in five different venues in Budapest. The jury lead by Borislav Andjelic gave a Special Jury Mention to the Finnish director, J.-P. Valkepää’s They Have Escaped.
