Non-Hungarian citizens of EU countries who have a residence in Hungary have one week left to register to vote in the upcoming European parliamentary elections, the National Elections Office (NVI) said on Friday. The deadline for submitting the registrations either in person in the local election office or by mail is 4pm on May 9.

Deputy head of the committee, Balázs Hidvéghi, said only Fidesz-Christian Democrats were capable of resolutely representing and protect Hungarian interests in the EU.
