Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is no stranger to controversy. From his less than subtle views on subjects ranging from immigration to the homeless, he has been on the receiving end of a fair share of finger pointing. Confusion reigns over the fate of Hungary’s nuclear deal with Russia, with reports from British newspaper the Financial Times that the EU has blocked the agreement worth 12 billion euros. Hungary has denied the news, local news agency MTI reported. According to the UK paper the decision to block the Paks II deal was taken last week at a meeting of EU commissioners.
