This fall, Főzdefeszt brings the best of Hungarian craft-brewing together for the sixth time. We are presenting more than 20 Hungarian breweries and quite a few Czech, Belgian, German and English beers. From Friday noon to Sunday midnight you can taste more then 150 beers from a dozen of styles and vote for the one you liked the best.

Polo, “The Sport of Kings” was first played in Persia in the 5th century BC. Originally, it was a training game for cavalry units, usually the king's guards. The modern game, formalized and popularized by the British, has now arrived to Hungary. Taking place at Kincsem Park, the “Polo Festival” was held, with Arena polo matches, fashion show, hat competition, pony riding and lots more.

Update: Today the organisers confirmed this event will go ahead despite the flooding situation. "A festival in the heart of Budapest for free?" Yes, that’s right. The local government of Lipótváros (V district) is organizing the traditional and increasingly popular Belvárosi Festival (BelFeszt) between the 7th and 9th of June.

There are few shopping centers in Budapest that has something special to offer making them stand in the crowd. Allee is not different, so you should probably not travel across the entire city to get to this one, because it is not worth it. But, if you combine it with a visit to the neighbor building, it could suddenly be worth the ride!

"An eternal story in the spirit of an outrageous comedy. Pinocchio represents at once the freedom of childhood fantasy and serves as the symbol of the wastefulness of a growing boy. When Master Geppetto artfully fashions a small wooden figure from a tree stump he finds outside his hous, the figure appears as a happy little boy.
