Romazuri – First Ever Roma Arts Festival on Margaret Island Budapest, 4 – 6 July
This summer marks the launch of ROMAZURI, the first Roma Arts Festival on Margaret Island, celebrating the richness and diversity of Roma culture and creativity. Held from 4 to 6 July at Kristály Színtér, the event will shine a spotlight on some of the most outstanding Roma talents across music, dance, theatre, visual arts, fashion, poetry, and cuisine, along with thought-provoking panel discussions.

The festival promises a colourful, vibrant weekend filled with performances and inspiration, featuring many prominent Roma artists.

Patron of the event: Judit Stahl, who will also moderate the festival's panel discussions.
Festival host: Acclaimed actress Lídia Danis, who will make surprise appearances in several programmes throughout the weekend.

– Opening remarks by Nóra Benkő, Director of Szabad Tér Színház Nonprofit Zrt.
– Welcome by Judit Stahl, festival patron

– Festive concert by the CiSz Gypsy Soloist Ensemble

Live Cooking Show with Géza Ásós, owner of Hungary's first Roma restaurant
– Featuring a traditional Roma cabbage dish tasting

19:30Exhibition Opening: Contemporary Roma Artists – Gallery
A curated selection from the Romano Kher and Kugler Art Salon collections

20:30Concert by Ferenc Snétberger and his students – Üvegterem

22:00Romano Glaszo: Music, dance & campfire celebration – Outdoor courtyard
