According to many critics Incendies (Scorched) from Wajdi Mouawad was one of the most important theatre productions of 2017 in Hungary. For this reason, Radnóti Theater will perform this play with English subtitles on the 9th of January 2018 and 8th of February 2018. The subtitles can be followed from the seats of the balcony.

The Embassy of Ireland, in cooperation with the Széchenyi Academy of Letters and Arts, is organising a screening of In the Name of Peace: John Hume in America. The documentary film, directed and produced by Maurice Fitzpatrick, looks at Nobel Laureate John Hume’s successful pursuit of peace in Northern Ireland through his co-operation with senior politicians in the United States.
