The Taste of Transylvania gastronomic and cultural festival — already established in Romania’s Transylvania region — will be held in Hungary for the first time from 27–29 March. The venue is the Transylvanian section of the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum (Skanzen) in Szentendre.

On the Day of Hungarian Culture (22 January), the Janus Pannonius Museum (JPM) in Pécs launched the “Vasarely 2026 – Pécs” jubilee season. The programme marks two milestones: the 120th anniversary of the birth of Victor Vasarely and the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Vasarely Museum in Pécs.
