Audiences will be able to see three contemporary Slovenian works at the 9th Slovenian Film Days between October 2 and 4 at the Toldi Cinema in Budapest, the organisers just announced.

Cinemira International Children’s Film Festival in Budapest this October

The Cinemira International Children’s Film Festival is Hungary’s only event dedicated to films for children and teenagers. This year, the festival expands to two weekends to reach a wider young audience. Cinemira TEEN takes place from October 8-10 at Akvárium Club in central Budapest, while Cinemira KIDS, for ages 4 to 12, will be held on October 23-24 at Millennium Park.

Japanese Film Week is set to return to Toldi Cinema this autumn, bringing five acclaimed films from recent years that showcase the diversity and depth of contemporary Japanese cinema. Screenings will take place from 6–10 October 2025, with all films shown in Japanese and subtitled in both English and Hungarian.
