The Hungarian-born American art collector Imre Pákh told MTI he will not take measures to remove Mihály Munkácsy’s monumental painting “Golgotha” from a Debrecen gallery until the end of the summer. Online retailers have registered accelerated growth since the ban on Sunday shopping came into force on March 15, according to a survey by GKI Digital and Árukereso.hu. In the first quarter, retail sales were up 16% year-on-year at Ft 30 billion. Tesco posted an annual 85% rise in online sales between March and May.
