Bwin can easily manage without the Hungarian market, and the state gaming company Szerencsejáték is about to launch its own online services, coincident with stronger pressure from authorities on illegal gambling, the website argues.

Hungarian-owned WGS Szerver Szolgátó is the first company to be granted a license to operate servers for server-based gaming technology, which will be mandatory for casino operators from January 1. The license must be approved by the Economy Ministry, which has 60 days to approve the request.
