ABB Hungary Appointed A New Country Managing Director

With effect of today, Taira-Julia Lammi has been appointed Country Managing Director of ABB Hungary. In her new position, she is going to focus on supporting further growth of ABB Hungary, and implementing transformation based on ABB Group’s Next Level Strategy. Taira-Julia Lammi succeeds Tanja Vainio who was nominated to Country Managing Director of ABB in the Czech Republic.
Lázár: Sport ‘National Cause’

The government considers sports as a “strategic sector and a national cause”, János Lázár, the government office chief, told a weekly press briefing. The achievements of Hungary’s athletes in the 2016 Rio Olympics and in past years will help the country’s bid to host the Olympics, Lázár said. He called Hungary one of the most successful “sporting nations” in the world.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke about the importance of sport and self-respect at the inauguration of the new training centre of the Diósgyőr Metal Works Physical Exercise Club (DVTK) in Miskolc. The training centre, built near the Diósgyőr football stadium, was inaugurated on Sunday.
