A total of 85 hospitals will receive Ft 39 billion worth of CT, MRI and X-ray machines from EU funds. The average age of CT machines will fall from 5.8 years to 3.7 years and that of MRI equipment from 5.5 years to 3.5 years. The arrival of 300 digital X-ray machines will make X-ray films obsolete. The tourism sector may this year reach record high figures, as the number of guests at accommodation establishments is expected to hit 10 million, the number of tourism nights and the amount of tourism revenues are to exceed 25 million and HUF 35bn, respectively, by the end of the year, Deputy State Secretary for Tourism Ádám Ruszinkó said at a press conference organized to mark World Tourism Day.

Only long-term programs can be successful but they are expensive and the schools have no money. Civil organisations would do it for free but they hardly get any state support.
