In the time since, Vietnam has doubled its GDP while Hungary’s has declined, she noted.

The Hungarian food authority (Nébih) detected banned insecticide fipronil in one batch of Hungarian eggs, the authority said on Monday. The circumstances of the contamination are under investigation, Nébih said. The batch in question has been withdrawn from circulation, it said.
