Seen until 22 September. The Vasarely Museum is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing with a special exhibition documenting the connection between art and space through works made at the height of the Cold War and conveying people’s euphoric faith in technology.

The now each year very expected European Art of Garden exhibition and sale organized by the Joseph Karolyi Fondation in the Károlyi stately home park in Fehérvárcsurgó will take place between 31 May and 2 June, with Romania, Findland and France as guest of honour countries whose representative lecturers will speak on the opening day in presence of their respective Ambassadors.

For the 28th time in this splendid Renaissance setting, this year until 1 August, music-lovers can enjoy symphony concerts as well as performances by Budapest Bar, the 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra, and the Sabbathsong Klezmer Band.

Shown until 15 May. Budapest Photo Festival chose a classic genre as an inspiration for contemporary Hungarian photographers. This time, the organizers were looking for works that interpret or redefine the landscape genre, or continue along well-established, traditional lines.
