Fifth District Mayor Antal Rogán on Thursday unveiled a life-size bronze statue of American actor Peter Falk on Falk Miksa utca. Falk, who had Hungarian ancestry, is very popular in Hungary for his role as TV detective Lt. Columbo. Hungary’s advertising market grew just 0.6% to 175.4 billion forints (EUR 560m) last year, data from the Hungarian Advertising Association show. The fastest-growing market was radio, where spending on ads climbed 29% to more than 8.8 billion forints, the association’s deputy chief, Péter Hivatal, said.
