Retired Archbishop of Esztergom László Paskai, former head of Hungary’s Catholic Church, died aged 89. Hungary has lost a priest who loved his church and country, the Christian Democrats said, expressing deep condolences over Paskai’s death in a statement. Paskai headed the Catholic Church in difficult times and he was a dedicated and wise leader and a good diplomat, the statement said.

There refugees can choose between sleeping side by side on cots indoors or sleeping in tents where temperatures reach 110 degrees. Others opt to sleep in a small wood nearby.
