Hungary’s National Mobile Payment System To Go Live On July 1

A state-run national mobile payment system that allows motorists to pay for parking and motorways will be introduced across Hungary from July 1. The IT system was completed two weeks ago and tests are under way with the involvement of parking service providers and mobile payment operators, Nemzeti Mobilfizetési Zrt (NMFR), the state company overseeing the project, said.

Budapest Cycle Project Sees Two-Month Delay

A public cycle rental system in Budapest could be up and running in July after a two-month delay, senior officials told a press conference on Tuesday. BuBi (Budapest Bicycle) should have been inaugurated on April 7 under a contract with a consortium of MOL and T-Systems, Dávid Vitézy, the head of the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK), said.

Britannica International School has appointed Richard Vaughan as the new Principal of Britannica International School to succeed Mr Ken Baines who will retire at the end of next month, July 2014. Mr Vaughan will move to Budapest with his wife and two children this Summer.
