Hungarian President János Áder has expressed condolences to US President Barack Obama over Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando, Florida that left 50 people dead and at least 53 wounded. “I was deeply shocked to hear the sad news about the cruel shooting in Orlando that killed so many innocent people,” Áder wrote in a letter.

President János Áder and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán condemned the shootings in Paris at the offices of a satirical magazine that claimed at least 12 lives. Expressing his condolences to his counterpart Francois Hollande, President Áder said, “I was deeply shocked and grieved today to hear about the fatal terrorist attack at the Charlie Hebdo magazine’s headquarters.”

I’ve heard that people from afar can say or claim whatever they want about themselves. Putting a little twist on the original saying, people can say whatever they want about a person that comes from afar. In case of Nadja Massun, the proverb may be even truer since she does come from very far she lives in Mexico but was born in Africa to a Hungarian mother and a Belgian father.
