Prague Shooting: No Hungarians  Among Victims, Announces State Secretary Menczer
A Hungarian foreign affairs official has expressed condolences and “shock” over the mass shooting in Prague in which several people lost their lives and dozens were injured, and he said so far there were no Hungarians known to be among the victims or injured.

The Hungarian embassy is in contact with the university where the shooting took place and with the police, Tamás Menczer, the state secretary for bilateral relations of the ministry of foreign affairs and trade, said on Facebook.

He expressed sympathy for the family members of the victims and the injured, adding that they were “in our prayers”.

The shooting spree took place on Thursday afternoon on Jan Palach Square in front of the Institute of Philosophy of Charles University in Prague.
