EU Development Projects Presented To The Public At Open Day In Hungary

Nearly 30 EU-funded projects were presented nationwide during the open day organised by the National Development Agency (NFÜ). At the Liszt Academy of Music, Deputy State Secretary responsible for development programs Nándor Csepreghy said that the aim of the open day is to introduce the EU projects included in the New Széchenyi Plan that positively affect people's everyday lives to the public.

Costes Budapest Wins 'Best Restaurant', Again

Costes has once more been awarded the accolade of 'Best Restaurant 2012' by the local Dining Guide publication. This is the second time the restaurant has won this prize, the most prestigious award in the Hungarian gastronomy scene. The prize was received by expat chef Miguel Viera Rocha, and Károly Gerendai the main owner of Costes.

Deep Forest is a musical group consisting of two French musicians, Michel Sanchez and Eric Mouquet. They compose a style of world music, sometimes called ethnic electronica, mixing ethnic with electronic sounds and dance beats or chillout beats. Their sound has been described as an "ethno-introspective ambient world music."

Diners who enjoy discovering new restaurants in Budapest will want to take advantage of 'TableFree Éttermi Napok', which will run from March 6 until March 12. The event features more than 50 of Budapest’s top restaurants, all offering unique three-course menus priced at either HUF 3,000 or 5,000.
