On May 1 MTI reported the less than welcome news that Freedom House's 2012 report on the freedom of the press degraded Hungary to the "partially free" category. Hungary received 36 negative points (legal environment 12; political environment 13; economic environment 11).

There is, however, one sphere in which landscape elements play an essential role: the decorative art of the first two centuries of the Roman imperial period.

In case you forgot what Sukoró is all about, it was a land swap involving Joav Blum, a Hungarian-Israeli businessman, and the Hungarian state. The details of the swap were handled by the Magyar Nemzeti Vagyonkezelő (MNV), a government office in charge of state properties.
