It only serves special interests, and it should be killed – by legislation or a referendum. A nobleman’s palace in rural Hungary, built in the early 1900s, has gone on sale for HUF 20 million, the price of a small Budapest apartment, the tabloid newspaper Bors has reported. The Perczel Palace, at the village of Rózsafa near Szigetvár in Baranya County, has a floor area of 589 square metres. Its surroundings – the former palace park – are spread out over around 29 000 square metres.
