I was born in Budapest on the 11th of October 1963. I studied English language and literature at the Cambridge university from 1983 till 1986. Between 1988 and 2013 I worked as translator, interpreter, office manager for the top leaders of several multinational companies. Between 2002 and 2013 I studied and worked in Stockholm, Sweden. I also represented Saab AB, one of the biggest defense companies in Europe.

In 2002 I started my massage therapy related studies. I graduated in 2005 as Swedish, Ayurvedic and Shiatsu massage therapist at the International Massage Academy. Between 2006 and 2012 I had the chance to work and gain experience at Sturebadet in Sweden.

In 2013 I returned to Hungary and started my own business, which is called The Massage Corner. In December 2014 I opened my massage parlor on the Szabadsag Hill. It is part of a luxury beauty salon that provides full beauty service to our clients.

1. Where did you grow up?
I was born and grew up in Budapest. In 1983 I left for Cambridge and my "international life" started then.

2. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Sweden, Stockholm. I studied and worked there for 12 years. I love the Swedish lifestyle, and the overall atmosphere of the country.

3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?
Balatonfüred and Tihany. Couldn't live without the Lake of Balaton.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
I would definitely show them the Normafa, Budapest by night (from boat), Lehel Market (there you can eat Hungarian fried sausage and "langos". I would also take them to Fülemüle for a cholet dinner. Needless to say that I would show them my massage parlor as well!

5. What is your favourite food?
I love cooking and eating. My favorite is the Hungarian, Chinese and Austrian kitchen. If I need to name only one dish it will be medium to rare steak.

6. What is your favourite sport / form of exercise?
Well, I am a lazy person. But I like walking with my dogs (two westies), and sometimes swimming seems to be a good idea. I played volley ball for 5 years when I studied at high school.

7. What is your favourite place in Hungary?
As town it is Balatonfüred. As mountain it is Bükk.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
I have had two careers so far. For 25 years I was translator, interpreter and I represented a Swedish company in Hungary. In 2002 I started my massage career parallel with the other one. Now I am doing what I like and what makes me happy. When I was younger I wanted to be a stewardess.

9. What’s a job you would definitely never want?
I would be a terrible teacher.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Tyrol. In the last 20 years I often visited that part of Austria. I love the mountains. Hiking, parachute jumping, long walks, swimming... These activities relax me most.

The health system in Hungary is in a very bad shape. I support a children's hospital where children with tumor are being treated.

Well, it depends on my mood. I like the silent tranquil ambience of Buda. But there are days when I love the busy, hectic Pest as well.

The biggest "achievement" is my son. He is 32 years old and he is my best teacher. I feel extremely lucky that he is my son.

Life is too short to waste it for sadness and anger. Realizing the happy moments, being curious, learning new things, appreciating the love that we receive from others, giving affection are the biggest gifts we human beings can get.
