Hungarian President János Áder on Tuesday called the recent US decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement “morally unacceptable”. Ever since the industrial revolution, the United States has carried the greatest historical responsibility for the increase in CO2 emissions, Áder said in during a visit to a secondary school in Székesfehérvár, in western Hungary.

Hungarian author Anna Jókai, an Artist of the Nation, has died after a long illness, at the age of 84. Born in Budapest in 1932, Jókai graduated at Eötvös Lóránd University of Arts and Sciences as teacher of history and Hungarian literature. She worked as a teacher in a primary school, then in a secondary one before becoming a full-time writer in 1976. Her first book, published in 1968 and ...

The 37-year-old Serbian coach won the league and cup double with Partizan Belgrade in 2016/17. Marko Nikolic signed the contract on Tuesday to become the new manager of Videoton. He has committed himself until June 2019. Marko Nikolic was born in Belgrade on the 20th July 1979 and went on to play for his home town club of FK Rad and on loan with Dorcol.
