The threat of terrorism has increased in Hungary but not to a level where it would affect the everyday lives of citizens, Interior Minister Sándor Pintér said at his annual hearing before parliament’s national security committee. Corruption must be tackled by working together “in education, legal background work and also at an ethical level,” Pintér said, adding that this must happen within society and organisations such as police and prosecutors.
