New Gödör Klub In Budapest Opens On 30th November

Not an entire year has passed since the crew of Gödör Klub had to leave the place that had given its name to the club; a hole in the ground in the middle of Erzsébet square. (Gödör means hole in Hungarian.) The new home of Gödör Klub will be in Central Passage, 8-10 Király Street, and the opening weekend will be 30th November - 1st December, read on for details

"We arranged a screening of the new Bond film, Skyfall, last week. On the same day it premiered here in Budapest. And we invited our closest contacts and friends to share the evening with us. It was great to see members of government, politicians, people from ministries, NGOs and just friends of the Embassy relaxing at the movies.

The British Embassy Budapest organised an exclusive film screening of the most recent James Bond movie in Cinema City Arena on 26 October. East Hungary’s biggest open-air party drew 50,000 visitors last year. In 2012 over 200 acts are on the festival’s lineup, which ranges from concerts to movie premieres and stand-up comedians.
