Magyar Telekom has warned customers about a scam on a post on Facebook. Fraudsters are calling people in the name of the company offering them prizes providing that they make a payment to a given telephone number.

President János Áder presented Hungary’s state orders as well as the prestigious Kossuth and Széchenyi prizes to recognise public personalities, artists and scientists on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1848 revolution in Parliament. In his address to the awardees, the president highlighted their achievements, which he said could “motivate many to come up with better results”.

There is a lack of movies about Hungarian history, government film commissioner Andy Vajna said on Kossuth Rádió on Sunday. He noted that Son of Saul, Freedom, Love and the soon to be premiered Kincsem have historical themes.
