After several hours of halted service due to an IT infrastructure failure this morning, departures at Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport have resumed and the airportʼs operation “is getting back to normal” as passenger and baggage check-ins have been restored, operator Budapest Airport announced on its Facebook page at 8:38 this morning.

Budapest’s Keleti railway station resumed services after 10am on Tuesday. The station was temporarily closed from 9.09am after police action to stop migrants from entering the railway station. Other passengers were allowed to board an international service bound to Vienna. When the station was closed down after 9am for an unspecified period, all passengers were asked to leave the building.
