A heat alert ordered by Hungary’s health authority (ANTSZ) has been prolonged by a day and raised from level two to the highest level three. The heat warning issued earlier has been extended to until midnight on Tuesday. On Friday, the heat will further intensify and the daytime mean temperature is expected to rise to above 27 C. In the following few days, dry weather is expected.
