Illegal Border Crossing Attempts Soar

Attempts to enter Hungary illegally from Serbia have risen by nearly 36% in the past 30 days compared to the previous month, according to data on the police website.
For the third time in a week, migrants were caught trying to reach Hungary by hiding in freight train wagons.
More than 3,000 migrants were caught entering the country illegally, up from 2,265 in the preceding 30 days.
