Hungarian contestant Anita Márton came first in the female shot put event at an athletics competition held in the Japanese capital Tokyo on Sunday. Ms. Márton, who is female indoor European Champion in the event, won with an extraordinary, 18.94 metre throw, beating American Brittany Smith by 33 centimetres.
