According to one of what may have been several impact studies on Sunday closures commissioned by the Ministry of National Economy, nearly 63 percent of respondents strongly opposed the forced closing of retail stores. However, the same study found that the results of the poll could be significantly influenced by employing convincing communication tactics.

Jewish Graves Desecrated In Hungary

Unidentified people have desecrated graves in the Jewish cemetery in Gyöngyös, in some cases scattering the remains of the dead, president of the town’s Jewish religious community Péter Weisz announced on Sunday. He said the perpetrators damaged the graves, desecrated the remains of those buried there and caused serious financial damage to the fence surrounding the cemetery.

Partial Solar Eclipse Visible From Hungary On 20 March

A partial, close to 60 per cent solar eclipse will be visible from Hungary on 20 March 2015, meaning that the Moon will cover almost two thirds of the Sun at the peak of the phenomenon. Although the country will not plunge into darkness, the amount of sunshine will decrease significantly during the partial eclipse.
