The Hungarian Academy of Wine presented the Winemaker of the Year award to Éva Dignisz Gál at a gala luncheon on Sunday. Dignisz Gál, the first woman to have won the title grows grapes with her husband, Csaba Gál, on 70 hectares on Csepel Island, south of Budapest, and ten hectares north of Lake Balaton.

An entrance ticket entitles you to taste all the wines and gastronomic products of 150 exhibitors without limitation, say the organisers of 'Borjour Magnum', held for the fourth time at Millenáris in Budapest. Until 14 February, an entrance ticket costs HUF 5000, or buy one at the venue for HUF 7000.
