A recent hacker attack against the servers of surveillance specialist Gamma International confirmed what was already suspected: the Hungarian secret service is on the list of clients for the firm’s Finfisher program, a spy software commonly used in oppressive regimes to monitor political opponents and NGOs.

This year’s Design Week Budapest held between Oct. 3 and 12 will include several free events, including a forum to advise startups about finding investors. Head of the HIPAVILON Hungarian Intellectual Property Agency, Viktor Botos, told MTI that works by some of the best Hungarian and international designers will be on show and 350 events will be held at 200 venues.

The title of the exhibition (Was auch der Fall ist) comes from the second half of the first proposition in Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus,, broadening its meaning towards what exists beyond what exists, and also referring to the artist’s preceding exhibition of the same name.
