Google Reveals Top Trending Topics in Hungary
Tech giant Google revealed the top trending topics in Hungary this year based on the biggest spikes in search terms. Google Hungary said the Google Search data show pop singer Azahriah and the actress Enikő Eszenyi were the top-trending people in 2023.

Among people who passed away during the year, the most searches were for the mountain climber Szilárd Suhajda and the American actor and Friends T.V. sitcom star Matthew Perry.

The data shows "Oppenheimer" and "Barbie" generated the biggest increases in searches for movies at the cinema.

In the world of sport, Hungarians' trending searches were dominated by the World Athletics Championships, which Budapest hosted in August, and the UEFA European Championship Qualifying games.

Apple's iPhone headed search trends for electronic devices.
