The wreck of the Hableány, a sightseeing boat which sank in the River Danube in central Budapest with a group of tourists aboard, could be lifted to the surface “in the foreseeable future”, an official of the counter-terrorism force (TEK), which is in charge of the salvage operation, told a press conference.

On 11 November Budapestians Daniel Kaali and Brody House Group co-founder William Clothier travel to the Nevada desert to compete in the World’s Toughest Mudder (WTM) Event - a gruelling 24-hour non-stop obstacle course race. Competitors race to complete as many of the specially designed 5-mile laps as possible in a 24-hour period.

Although there are no official figures for the number of people living on the streets in Budapest, thousands use shelters and any available floor space for extra mattresses.
