New Hungarian Records: One Down, Another To Go
The first ever Hungarian skiing expedition through the Northwest passage is now safely at home. Veronica Wynne-Hughes who is half British half Hungarian has completed the 400km historical route over sea ice. Watch the video of her expedition here:

She and her two Norwegian companions took 18 days to do it, endured temperatures as low as 32 below, faced a 100km/h storm, and to top it all, were stalked by a polar bear for 5 hours.

They saw a total of 3 polar bears, two grizzlies, muskox, caribou, Arctic foxes as well as wolf and wolverine trails. This was part of Veronica's training for her first ever Hungarian expedition to the South Pole later this year.

All she has to do now is find sponsors.
