The celebrations will begin on August 19 when the 'Street of Hungarian Flavours' will open at noon between the Buda side of the Erzsébet híd and Bem tér. Awards will be presented for Hungary’s best cake, sugar-free cake and ice cream. Pop music will play on Clark Ádám tér and on Bem tér from 8pm. "In 2011 hundreds of concerts, sereval exhibitions, publications and commemorating events were dedicated to Ferenc Liszt, born 200 years ago. Although we could not be present everywhere, we have covered most of the events in narrative or in pictures.
