Interviewed on TV2 Thursday morning, Tarlós said the two-day strike – scheduled for June 11-12 – is not the end of the world, adding “let’s not act like a nuclear war is about to break out”.

Fire-fighters rescued 33 people from an amphibious sightseeing water bus in Budapest Tuesday night after it ran adrift in the Danube. János Sági, captain of the fire-fighting ship Szent Flórián, said the bus was adrift in the water at the foot of Chain Bridge after spinning out of control. Nobody was injured in the incident.
