Daily Napi Gazdaság, quoting unnamed sources, said that a foreign intelligence agency has handed to the Hungarian authorities details, photographs and copies of the passports of ten terrorist suspects in case they appear among migrants arriving in Hungary. The paper said the southern Hungarian regional immigration office had been sent the details “through a closed network”.

The Vámosszabadi refugee camp in southern Hungary is dangerously overcrowded. There refugees can choose between sleeping side by side on cots indoors or sleeping in tents where temperatures reach 110 degrees. Others opt to sleep in a small wood nearby. There are not enough toilets. Garbage is everywhere.

Palkovics noted that young foreigners make up 8% of all students at Hungary’s universities and colleges.

Hungarian-trained world-class racehorse Overdose died from a serious disease at the age of ten, the website pannoniaoverdose.hu reported. Overdose was considered to be the best horse to emerge from Hungary since the great Kincsem in the 1870s. It triumphed in all of its first 14 races and attracted purchase offers as high as 5 million euros.
