Our planet is heating up. Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, and extreme weather events like droughts, cyclones and floods are becoming more common. All of these events have two things in common: 1) they have the worst effect on the world’s poorest people, many of whom work as farmers, and make it harder for them to grow food, and 2) they threaten the global goal to end hunger by 2030.

The Hungarian foreign ministry so far knows of one Hungarian woman who was injured after a truck drove into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, Tamás Menczer, the ministry’s spokesman, said. Menczer said the woman suffered minor injuries. French authorities have yet to give Hungary an official update on the attack’s potential Hungarian casualties, he said.

Visitors can expect to view more than 200 vehicles at this year’s international truck country festival in Sziksósfürdő and Szeged, in southern Hungary, over the weekend, the organiser of the event said. Drivers will arrive with their trucks from Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Romania and Serbia at the festival organised for the 26th time, Attila Ágoston said.
