B.my.Lake is one of Hungary’s premier electronic music festivals, often referred to by fans as the "Mecca of Techno." Traditionally held near Lake Balaton, the festival has recently moved to the scenic North Beach (Északi Strand) in Velence, located just about 45 minutes from Budapest.

The Etyek–Buda wine region (usually shortened simply to “Etyek”) is a compact but prestigious PDO region covering just 1,652 hectares of vineyards. It lies west of Budapest, stretching from the Buda Hills towards Lake Velence — Hungary’s second-largest lake — and northwards to the slopes of the Gerecse Hills.

Velence is one of Hungary’s most popular resort spots, not just because of the great lake but also due to the marvellous natural environment in and around the Velence Hills - as the video below shows. Plus It is easily accessible from Budapest, either by a short train journey or a quick drive along the M7.
