Hungary has been cracking down on its homeless people. Cities now have a law saying they can define areas where they aren't allowed to stay, such as parks, playgrounds, or underpasses. Those who refuse to move on can be sentenced to public service work, fined or put in prison. Civil society groups say the government is criminalising vagrancy and not dealing with the root causes.

József Vágó (45) CEO of SÓLYOM Hungarian Airways Ltd. was born in Budapest, Hungary. He started his aviation career in 1987 at the Russian Military Aviation Academy as a trainee fighter pilot. After finishing the Academy with excellent results, he became a pilot (lieutenant) in the Hungarian Air Force.

For vast numbers of people in professional roles, as well as those of us working specifically in recruitment circles, it’s still common currency. However, for such an important tool, I’m frequently surprised at how poorly it is sometimes used.
