Fidesz Lost Control Over Rising Food Prices, Say Hungarian Opposition Party DK

Ruling Fidesz is resorting to “sham measures” to conceal the fact that it has lost control over the weak forint and increase in food prices, the opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) said, commenting on shops having to display signs showing that the government has frozen the price of seven food products for 90 days.

Last Saturday evening Team XpatLoop and friends attended the 'Big Budapest Burns' Supper - complete with the “piping in” of authentic haggis. We enjoyed a 'full-Brigadoon' kind of evening - with singing and dancing, poetry and music. A wonderful taste of Scotland in Hungary, and all for charity!

Debrecen-based ITE Bus & Truck has delivered the first six Mercedes-Benz Reform 501 LE buses out of the 88 ordered by the state-run coach operator Volánbusz, Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics said in Székesfehérvár.
