'Night Of the Artworks Festival', Budapest, ​​​​​​​18 - 20 May
This is said to be the most colorful art and cultural event of spring, organized for the seventh time by the leading news portal of the domestic art trade, műtárgy.com

During the three-day event, museums, galleries, and studios will all open their doors, offering nearly 100 events at 50 venues in the capital.

By purchasing one wristband, visitors can register to a variety of programs, from exhibitions, art walks, talk, private studio visits, workshops, and film screenings.

It is an opportunity for art lovers, artists and connoisseurs to meet and discover the world of art, bringing within reach the fascinatingly diverse world of artworks.

The festival’s mission is also to show that art is not the same as painting, graphics, and sculpture, but that porcelain, ceramics, ceramics, and glass, photography, jewelry, paper, and even textiles.

As in previous years, there is a special theme for this year’s program, with focused events at some venues on the topic of 'Women about art, art about women'.

While some of the programs are best suited to those with Hungarian-language knowledge, English-speakers can also find treats during the festival.

So make sure to check out the offerings of the exhibitions listings, from the Óbuda Museum to Műcsarnok’s offerings of photo and fine art, as well as the special screening of Vermeer famous painting at Bem Mozi.

Also you can get a glimpse into the world of creation by visiting the studio of Venezuelan artist, Zeus Salas: he’ll reveal both finished and unfinished works as well as offer a short workshop based on his own practice involving breathing and self-reflection.
