Euronews officially opened its office in Budapest yesterday, declaring that its aim is to present the world to Hungary. Two metro carriages were named in Budapest on Monday after two surviving legendary soccer players who played in Hungary’s Golden Team in 1953. Plaques on the front and back of the carriages bearing the names of Jenő Buzánszky and Gyula Grosics were unveiled by Budapest mayor István Tarlós and Alstom CEE deputy CEO Alf Henryk Wulf.

Doctors will get full access to a patient’s entire health records in line with amended legislation submitted to parliament, daily Népszabadság said. Unless a patient sends a written statement to the health insurance authority to bar access to his or her records, doctors will be able to search freely in their personal database, the paper said.
